Danish De Luxe was founded in 1958 by Neville Ashkanasy, John Westacott and Borg Gjorstvang. Based in Huntingdale Victoria, Danish De Luxe was a Melbourne furniture design and manufacturing company. Designing inhouse contemporary mid-century modern furniture often influenced by Scandinavian design, DDL also commissioned leading local Australian Designers, including George Kral and Maggie May. DDL also manufactured the Grant and Mary Featherson "Talking Chair MKII".
Due to the nature of the Objet d'art collection, buyers will need to arrange to pick up their purchase or organize a courier at their own expense.
All items are sold as-is, and there are no returns or refunds.

If your artwork is damaged or in any other way not-quite-right when it arrives, contact us within 3 days to let us know and we'll organise a repair or replacement.
Buyers will need to pay the costs of return delivery. Your artwork needs to be returned in 'as-new' condition and in the same packaging as it arrived. If it's not in 'as-new' condition we reserve the right to return the product to you and refuse the refund.
